    2. Entrants may enter as many unique Entries as they wish during the Contest Period. Website Accounts or Entries generated by script, macro, artificial intelligence or other automated means will be void. Website’s clock will be the official time-keeping device for the Contest.

    3. In the event of a dispute regarding any Entry based on an email address, that Entry will be deemed made by the authorized holder of the primary email address associated with the Entry at the time of the Entry submission, and such Entrant must comply with these Official Rules.

  1. Content Restrictions: Sponsor reserves the right to reject any Entry that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates the Official Rules (including the Content Restrictions), or is otherwise unsuitable, offensive, or in poor taste, and disqualify the relevant Entrant at any time during the Contest, even if it has been declared a Finalist or Winning Entry. All Entries must meet the following requirements (the “Content Restrictions”):

  • Each Entry must be in English, original and be a minimum of 4 panels in length and up to 5 episodes, as reflected in the WEBTOON desktop experience.

  • Each Entrant must have all rights necessary to post and submit each Entry.

  • Entries must not infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any third party. It is each Entrant’s responsibility to ensure that Entrant has all necessary rights to submit the Entry (except for rights associated with Prize Provider) and to grant Sponsor and Prize Provider the rights described in these Official Rules.

  • Entries must comply with all Instructions specified on the Contest Profile (incorporated herein by reference).

  • Entries must not contain identifying information (e.g. names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses or mailing addresses) of any real person, including Entrant.

  • Entries must not contain material that is obscene, lewd, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, sexually explicit, racially or ethnically offensive, or that otherwise contains inappropriate content or objectionable material as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, or that encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or violate any law.

  • Entries must not disparage the goodwill and business reputation of Sponsor, Prize Provider and/or any of their affiliated companies.

  • Entries must be tagged #monsterhunter to be considered.

  1. Entrant’s Representations & Warranties:

    1. By submitting an Entry, Entrant hereby represents and warrants that their Entry and other materials and information provided by such Entrant: are original to Entrant; do not violate or infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, moral rights or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity; do not violate any rules or regulations contained in these Official Rules; do not contain any material or elements that are not owned by Entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, or that Entrant has obtained, prior to submission of the Entry and information or materials, all releases and consents necessary to permit use and exploitation of the Entry and information and materials by Sponsor and Prize Provider in the manner set forth in these Official Rules without additional compensation; do not contain information considered by Entrant or any other third party to be confidential; and do not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

    2. Entrant agrees that Sponsor has the right to verify the ownership and originality of all Entries. If any potential Winner’s ownership, rights and the originality of any winning Entry cannot be verified to Sponsor’s satisfaction or such Entry is in any other way ineligible, Sponsor may in its absolute discretion disqualify that Entry and Entrant and select an alternate Winning Entry in accordance with the Winner Selection, Notification & Verification section below.

    3. By participating, Entrants acknowledge that Sponsor may be working on or may receive other Entries (or Sponsor’s employees or third-party independent contractors may create materials on their own) that are similar or identical in theme, format or other respects to that submitted by Entrant. By accepting an Entry, Sponsor does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to Sponsor or Prize Provider or developed by its employees or agents or obtained from sources other than that Entrant. Neither Sponsor nor Prize Provider shall have any liability to any Entrant for any direct, indirect, contributory, vicarious, secondary or other infringement or protection of any copyright in or to Entrant’s Entry. Neither Sponsor nor Prize Provider is responsible for any unauthorized use of Entries by third parties.

  2. Finalist Judging, Notification & Verification: After the close of the Contest Period, a panel of qualified judges consisting of employees of Sponsor and employees of Prize Provider (the “Contest Judges”) will review and score each Entry in accordance with the Scoring Process below. Subject to verification of eligibility, the fifteen (15) Entrants who receive the highest overall scores from the Contest Judges will be declared the potential finalists (each, a “Finalist”) and progress to the next round of judging. Confirmed Finalist stories will be curated into a reading list on the Contest Profile (https://www.webtoons.com/p/community/en/u/brandedcontest). Potential Finalists will be notified on or about February 24, 2025 via email or direct message on the Website. Finalists are subject to verification, including verification of eligibility. If an Entrant is unable to verify Entrant’s information, the Entrant will automatically be disqualified and their prize, if any, will be forfeited. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than fifteen (15) Finalists if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries. The following scoring processes (the “Scoring Process”) will be employed to determine the Finalists:

Finalists will be selected by manual editorial review based equally on (i) creativity, (ii) originality and (iii) quality of drawing and writing, including grammar, spelling and syntax (33% / 33% / 33%). Finalist Entries will be sent to a judging panel as described below in the “Winner Selection, Notification & Verification” section.

  1. Winner Selection, Notification & Verification:

    1. After the close of the Contest Period, a panel of qualified judges consisting of employees of Sponsor and employees of Prize Provider (the “Contest Judges”) will review and score each Finalist Entry in accordance with the Scoring Process above.
The Contest Judges will select the Prize Winners on or about February 26, 2025. The winners are each a “Prize Winner” and collectively the “Prize Winners”. The number of potential winners is as follows:

3x Grand Prize Winner and 9x Runner Ups (twelve (12) in total)

  1. Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner in accordance with these Official Rules if any Prize Winner is disqualified, cannot be contacted, or is deemed ineligible for any reason, or is not available to participate in any applicable contesting events. Finalists and judging scores will not be revealed. The decisions of the employees of Sponsor and employees of Prize Provider are final and binding in all respects.

  2. Sponsor or its designee will attempt to notify the Prize Winner(s) by email or direct message on the Website within forty-eight (48) hours of selection. Each potential Prize Winner must respond to initial notification and execute and return any requested Declaration of Eligibility and Liability Release (the “Release”) within forty-eight (48) hours of initial notification.

  3. If any potential Prize Winner (a) cannot be contacted directly by, or does not respond to, initial notification within the time stated above, (b) fails to satisfy any eligibility or verification requirement herein, (c) declines to accept the Prize, or (d) is otherwise determined to be ineligible, in Sponsor’s discretion, that individual will be disqualified and forfeit the Prize. In such event, the next highest scoring Entrant will be declared an alternate Prize Winner as soon as reasonably practicable after such disqualification. Any alternate Prize Winners must satisfy the above-described verification procedures and deadlines. This process will continue until all Prize Winners are confirmed or no Entrants remain, whichever occurs first.

  4. Confirmed Prize Winners will be announced on the Website on or around February 28, 2024 and will receive instructions from the Sponsor or its designee for claiming or receiving their Prizes. Upon fulfilling any Prize, the Sponsor will be deemed to have awarded the Prize to such Prize Winner and such Prize Winner assumes full responsibility for the Prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to award fewer than the stated number of Prizes if it does not receive an adequate number of properly submitted and eligible Entries.

  1. Publicity Grant: Each Entrant’s acceptance of being declared a Finalist and/or Prize Winner in the Contest constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use each Finalist’s and Prize Winners’ Entries, as well as Entrant’s name, website(s) or other social media handle or other ID, biographical information, address (city and state/province) and likeness, for advertising and promotional purposes, in any manner, in any and all media now or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by applicable law and as otherwise provided herein. The preceding expressly includes, without limitation, any video associated with any winning Entry.

  2. Intellectual Property / Use of Entries: Each Entrant owns the underlying copyright of the original elements of their Entry. Each Finalist and Prize Winner grants and assigns to Sponsor and its designees all rights, title and interest (including copyright) in and to the winning Entry, including, without limitation, the right to use, perform, exhibit, reproduce and/or otherwise exploit Entrant’s prize-winning Entry in any manner and in any and all distribution channels, venues or media now known or hereafter devised, without further notice or any compensation to Entrant. The preceding grant of rights is subject to any rights retained by a social media operator in its social media platform. Each Prize Winner further waives, to the extent allowed by law, any “moral rights” or “droit moral” of authors or similar natural rights of ownership the Entrant may have in the Entry. Each Prize Winner further agrees, upon Sponsor's request and without compensation of any kind, to execute any additional documents so as to effect, record or perfect the grant of rights contemplated by this subsection.

  3. Representations & Warranties

  1. Each participating Entrant hereby represents and warrants that any Entry and other materials and information provided by such Entrant are original to Entrant and do not violate or infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, moral rights or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity, and do not violate any rules or regulations contained in these Official Rules. If the Entry or information or materials provided by Entrant contain any material or elements that are not owned by Entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, Entrant represents that Entrant has obtained, prior to submission of the Entry and information or materials, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit use and exploitation of the Entry and information and materials by Sponsor and Prize Provider in the manner set forth in these Official Rules without additional compensation.

  2. Each Entrant represents and warrants that the Entry and materials and information provided do not contain information considered by Entrant or any other third party to be confidential, and that the Entry, materials and information provided do not violate any applicable laws or regulations. Entrant agrees that Sponsor has the right to verify the ownership and originality of all Entries. In the event a submission is selected as a winning Entry, and Entrant’s ownership, rights and the originality of the Entry cannot be verified to the satisfaction of Sponsor or is in any other way ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner based on the same judging criteria.

  3. By participating, Entrants acknowledge that Sponsor may be working on or may receive other Entries (or Sponsor’s employees or third-party independent contractors may create materials on their own) that are similar or identical in theme, format or other respects to that submitted by Entrant. By submitting an Entry, Sponsor does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to Sponsor or Prize Provider or developed by its employees or agents, or obtained from sources other than entrant. Neither Sponsor nor Prize Provider shall have any liability to Entrant for any direct, indirect, contributory, vicarious, secondary or other infringement or protection of any copyright in or to entrant’s Entry. Neither Sponsor nor Prize Provider are not responsible for any unauthorized use of Entries by third parties.

  1. General Rules:
