Taking care of someone other than yourself is no easy feat. Your responsibilities suddenly become significantly larger along with the constant worrying of your children’s well-being. Are they sick? What if they get hurt? Are they sad? How can I cheer them up? Even when it’s unwarranted, you just can’t help but worry about them. As parents, our children are our everything, however, the happiness they bring us does drag along some hardships as well – a lack of sleep, always cleaning up after them, and keeping them out of trouble, to name a few.

To top it off, during the pandemic especially, parents have to take care of their kids while working from home. I’m sure many can unfortunately relate to attending a virtual meeting where your kids become the star of the show. What we personally think is the most commendable achievement of all is that many CANVAS creators produce their series outside of their full-time job while raising kids! Maybe you all have superhuman abilities that you’re secretly hiding from the rest of us. In all seriousness, parents take on so much, yet somehow manage to come out on top.

If you’re a parent, take some time to acknowledge yourself for having both the mental and physical fortitude for raising kids because if there's anything we’ve learned from CANVAS series, it’s that kids can be a burden, a blessing, and a surprisingly unique form of entertainment.
