Did you know that many of our WEBTOON ORIGINALS creators also have CANVAS series!? Just in case you’re new to WEBTOON, we’ll go over what the difference is between ORIGINALS and CANVAS!

CANVAS is where creators publish their content independently. This means that their series aren’t exclusive to CANVAS and they can decide their publishing schedule and have full control over everything involving their series. Once CANVAS Creators hit 1k+ subscribers and 40k+ monthly page views, they can also apply for our Ad Revenue Program and if approved, they’ll automatically be part of our Creator Rewards Program!

With ORIGINALS, WEBTOON licenses content from the creators. Each creator or team of creators is assigned an Editor who works closely with them on their series. ORIGINALS creators have a structured publishing schedule, are paid directly by WEBTOON, and can only be read on WEBTOON!
