A female exorcist, X, fights to protect the people the church abandons when demonic activity begins rising in her hometown. X must evade the witch-hunt mounted by the local diocese to find who’s performing the unauthorized exorcisms while fighting an increasingly horrific evil. She is joined by Brother Eduardo, a Benedictine monk with healing abilities, and his spiritual hound, Bebita, who help X avoid the wrath of Father Ruiz.
