The new King changed the kingdom of Argenveil to the core: Magic was forbidden and spellcasters were arrested or slain. Soon after, all non-humans were persecuted and killed. This was Bartholomew Steiner's world: raised by the Guard, and blinded by the deception of the Throne. Now the truth must be exposed. Law is used against the people and Magic was still present, only darker. Argenveil must avoid war at all costs! Steiner will learn about his past, and how urgent it is to find the True King.
