21-year-old Kina has been under the pressure of her mother's expectations since birth, her stress only magnified by her strange ability to read minds in her sleep. She believes that as an exchange student in a new city she can finally be free, and maybe even find someone else with a power. On the plane to her new life, she accidentally reads her neighbor's mind. She finds out that he also has a power- but he doesn't even know it.
