When the angel Columba notices souls of people not passing for either heaven or hell, a series of events has her falling out of heavens window. On Earth, she meets the demon named Corbin who is also looking to capture the missing souls, a move which could get him promoted to the title of Chief of Demons. As they look for the souls, they uncover who these souls really are and the truth about themselves too.
