"Corbin" originates from Old French. In modern French, it comes from "corbeau," meaning "raven." It's used as a given name or surname today. Old French was spoken in regions of today's France and England from the 9th to the 14th centuries. While "Corbin" doesn't mean "raven," it's related to the Old French "corbeau," which does mean "raven." Apologies for any confusion.
