Happy Birthday to my Boyfriend! He's so wonderful and supportive (if you're reading, I love you <3). Bottlenose whales (not dolphins, they just look similiar) are super vulnerable to sonar - it makes them stop feeding entirely and supposedly triggers the same amount of fear that the presence of a killer whale does!! These animals LIVE by sound, they hear the ocean in a way that we can't comprehend
