Well, it's official: the Esketamine is a bust. Just like TMS, it did nothing to improve my depression. I feel exactly the same as before I got the treatment. I know there is no "magic bullet" when it comes to depression or mental illness, but the hope was to at least move the needle. Next steps are to try upping the dose via a muscular injection vs the nasal spray or revisit the idea of ECT.
