On the eve of his 20th birthday, Mark sets out to summon a genie for his magical research capstone thesis, but he accidentally summons a fugitive djinn named Barakat. So Mark enlists the help of his best friend Simon and sworn nemesis Leslie Liu in a misadventure to get Barakat back home before she misses her trial.
