Your parents are supposed to teach you right from wrong. You should always strive to be the best version of yourself. You should be the bigger person and walk away from conflict, defuse situations not escalate. But no one ever seems to mention that being 14 makes all these things seem impossible. Especially when it feels like the world is out to get you. And in Crystal's defense the world is quite literally out to get her.
