This meal was quite delicious! For what it's worth, Iceland stopped hunting whale a couple years ago, so I don't think it's something you'll be able to find in restaurants there anymore. Also, as far as I understand, the kind of whale they used to hunt (minke) had a healthy population, and were never at risk of becoming endangered.
