This was so sweet and cute! There's a big lake in the middle of the downtown/city center/shopping area of Reykjavik called Tjörnin, which if I remember correctly just means "the pond". It's got various types of water fowl that hang out there, and it's super nice to just hang out near. In the winter, it can freeze over.
