The world becomes cruel as time goes by, or is it just the people in it who becomes greedy and inhumane? Lucia experienced the worst treatment as she lives in the cruel world. She realized that even if she fights, it will just become worst for her. On the other hand, Josefina seems to realized the same, but still continues to fight back until she gets her revenge, even if it kills her.
