Eris, the goddess of cure, descends into madness during her pregnancy. In a moment of madness, she enters the Room of Infinite Lights and commits the Ultimate Sin, causing the death of all gods except for her husband, Ares, the soulless god of war. Ares saves their unborn daughter's soul and leads a battle against the rising forces of Limbo, but his efforts are ultimately in vain. Ares releases his daughter's soul into the disintegrating world - what unfolds next remains a mystery.
