If you live in Enderia, you worship Conquest at sunrise, War at dusk, and Famine whenever you please. For two thousand years, these three gods have ruled over their pockets of land- and no one who has challenged them has lived to tell the tale. But Uriol Markoff is interested in making a new myth- he wants to steal the sacred seals from the gods to free his beloved, the god of Death, from her eternal prison, and he’s willing to lie, cheat, and kill his way to get there.
