Throughout history we have received warnings about the threat of powerful ancient entities looming in the ocean depths and locked away in polar ice. The author HP Lovecraft tried to warn us but we didn't listen... In 1948 we would pay the price when the sleepy Massachusetts town Kingsport was destroyed by an unknown monster. As terror and madness spread, it became clear we would need a new generation of heroes to save our world... instead we got The Eldritch Defense Force!
