Audrey is a put-upon girl in the tiny village of Redwood. Agni is the dragon prince of the mightiest kingdom in the world. It is a world of magic, in which Audrey studies the secrets of fire and the great dragons who wield it in terrible war. It is this war that prince Agni fears the most, and while Audrey hones her talents, Agni shirks his. When Audrey is finally given the chance to prove herself, she is set on collision with the dragon prince, a path which will leave neither of them unscathed.
