A mercenary-for-hire is given the golden opportunity to pay off her debt after getting tangled up in a contract with the crown. It's simple. Deliver the unknown prince to an allied kingdom in the south where he is to be wed. Only she didn't account for familial issues to resurface, or the fact she's a dragon rider after hours, or a strange vampire that tags along.
