The world they live in is secretive, everyone wears masks so that no emotion is shown. It's an emotionless place, this is normal, life is perfect. Nothing needs to be changed. Sophia is the mayor's daughter, nobody has ever challenged the ways of their society. Sophia finds herself questioning everything she has ever known. No one ever speaks up against the government, everyone was grown up believing and fearing. Everything is a lie, a mask to hide behind. There are no feelings, just the mask.
