I got this story from a friend whose dad was in the WWII German military. All of it is true. Even throwing the kid over the fence. The only exception is the horsey bits - her dad didn't tear cross-country to beat the crap out a supply guy on the radio. He should have. But he was only a two-legger, and we can't do that. The comment on comic book editors is about how they butt in.
