A mutagen of unknown origins has hit the Florida coastlines causing those that ingest the mutagen to cause a rapid spread of barnacles inside and out leading to a quick painful death, be unaffected, or gain sea-creature appearance leading to the new classification of Sea-People. Some of those lives include a normal person turned supermodel overnight, the friend that remembers her before the change, a cop and lawyer seeking justice for Sea People, and a marine scientist seeking the truth.
