Birdie is back in her home town somewhere she hadn’t been since she had run away at 17. Her late grandmother’s house, a town she no-longer recognizes and some stray cat, Birdie plans to simply flip the home and get out as fast as she can, that is until she meets May: a short and spunky artist in desperate need for a new living situation. The two women find themselves growing closer over the months that follow, that is until an unexpected surprise turns their lives upside down.
