For as far back as she could remember, he had been after her. Akai is a young girl with simple needs. A roof over her head, enough to eat, and her pet sheep. She doesn't mind that her village shuns her for the sin she committed against their religion. What does bother her, is Snatcher, the ancient shadow wolf who has hunted her since childhood. She doesn't know what he wants or why her, she just knows that when he comes around - she must run.
