This happened in real life ... sort of ... I was watching a Gray Whale and this seagull kept standing there watching me. I took a ton of pictures of it (between whale breaths) and got to wondering what it was thinking about. I decided it must be having deep, contemplative thoughts about life ... and then it confirmed it by squawking. Drawn digitally based on photos I took off the Oregon Coast
