Yayy! The educational strips are back. Here are some complementary Sirius facts: Sirius is technically a binary star system made up of Sirius A and Sirius B - a white dwarf. Sirius B is so tiny it wasn't observed until 1862. The word 'Sirius' is the Latinised form of the Ancient Greek word for 'glowing'. Sirius is sometimes called the 'Dog Star'.
