Bennett Harp knows not of how the world was made, but only in what way it works, and in which its inhabitants choose to be selfish and thus destroy what thrives around them. He's certainly not your average fifteen year old, but despite everything wrong about his life, he manages to succeed in life with such little trust. When faced with unexpected problems upon graduating tenth grade, he becomes infatuated with the unknown that lurks beneath him, soon struggling to fight the darkness within.
