Paolo Garcia makes his living collecting bounties: not the bounties of outlaws, but of the dangerous monsters that inhabit the desert. When a hunt goes south and results in the death of a close friend, he swears to take in his compadre's young daughter; but he never expected her -or a mysterious stranger who joins them on a new hunt- to tangle him in an adventure that would change his life forever.
