FLuX grew up poor in a family of 7 in a semi-violent, 1000 sq ft household in PA, and escaped to Baltimore as an adult. He experimented with sexuality, advertising, restaurant, and truck driving jobs, & saw a city-sized UFO. Depicted as half monkey, his fur shifts color based on mood. As he finds love & his art career takes off, a schizophrenic episode by his brother back home sets his life on edge, & he helps his younger sister escape their controlling mother - also depicted as half-ape.
