Every human is born with a Quaint. A physical manifestation of everything that makes them who they are. Quaints develop alongside their human, and hatch when that human reaches maturity around 18-22 years old. Kenny is 23 and her Quaint has yet to hatch. Surviving in a world soaked in toxins with poisonous air should be her main concern, but nothing can be taken for granted in such a marginal existence. Surviving is a near impossible task in this dying land of masked faces and corruption.
