Humans have mastered spaceflight and are expanding their reach throughout the galaxy. One planet has all the characteristics of a new Earth. There's one catch: every attempt to settle the planet ends in complete disaster – leaving none alive. Such is the fate of the latest colony ship, except this time, there is a survivor – a small baby.
