The moment Mari Lopez woke up, things were different. Monsters prowled the streets, an eternal winter covered the once sunny state of Arizona, and her sister, Emily, was missing. Now, Mari’s determined to survive the dangerous frozen tundra of the former United States while also searching for clues as to where her sister went. However, the handsome, Derek Morgan, is catching her eye and as the two get closer more threats begin to appear making Mari realizes that love is far more painful.
