Meet Catherine Morland: seventeen, almost pretty, and about as ignorant and uninformed as an adolescent girl usually is. When she is invited to stay at Northanger Abbey, she dreams of finally living out her own Gothic adventure. As she explores the mansion, her imagination runs wild, and she begins to suspect sinister things. Is the mansion haunted? Is the landlord, General Tilney, hiding a dark secret in the attic?
