Evan was a wild thing, straining to get free of South Aux. Running away for days at a time was normal - for him. But this time, he didn't come back. When Evan's mutilated body is found in the forest behind the town, the villagers write it off as a tragic calamity. But Noa knows it wasn't an accident. The thing that killed Evan is still out there, still wandering free. Noa soon finds himself caught up in the complexities and struggles of finding just what- or who- is responsible for Evan's death.
