Interspecies relationships between humans and dreiks have been known since after the Human Dreik War. In worlds with dominant human, or dreik, cultures they are badly seen, but in the frontier worlds humans and dreiks have mixed cultures and mixed families are common. Also, a Nobilis dreik reproducing with a human is seen as an insult to the most conservative dreik nobles.
