21-year-old guitarist Teddy Headstock gets kicked out of her band a few months before a major talent competition. She bumps into Pippa Overdrive, a local celebrity vocalist and guitarist who is in a similar position. Together, they set out to start a group to compete in the Chords Clash contest.
