Viy is half human. She grew up on the permanently-eclipsed moon where most vampires live. Now she's visiting Earth for the first time, on the tiny island of Skua. She's hoping to find her missing childhood friend, but in the mean time she's going to school, learning about the world and trying to fit in with vampire-kinds' red-blooded predecessors.
