Kioko Hano, a young, amibitious, career-minded woman, has started her new job at a premier talent agency in Tokyo. Her clients include a soap opera star and a former underwear model, both of whom want their acting to be taken more seriously. She’s made it her mission to help secure their dream roles. Along the way, egos, friendships, and romance begin to develop and the lines between real life and soap operas begins to blur. Until we need to remind ourselves that life is NOT (always) a soap.
