This morning, I drove my grandma to church. As we arrived, she thanked me and reminded me to pick her up after the service. I watched her join her friends and then left for my errands. Hours later, I realized I forgot to pick her up. Rushing back, I found her patiently sitting on the church steps, a gentle smile on her face. She simply said, "I knew you'd come back, dear." Feeling guilty, I apologized, and we laughed about it on the way home.
