Areo- a sniper, and Soren- his Psyché (a creature companion that is attached to everyone in this world as a physical manifestation of their ego) don't have the best relationship. Once they meet Callan and Laiken, though, all that changes. Thrust into a whirlwind romance Areo never could have scoped out, the pair must learn to make peace with their demons, to love themselves, and work together to recover from trauma and loss.
