Gnomes. They live underground, eat mushrooms, and speak to rocks. They have families, jobs, and like to have their arms covered. Their knowledge of minerals and botany makes them loved by all species. Whatever one gnome needs, another will do. The few that depart the caverns are sought after as dependable friends. No matter how dangerous the depths, a gnome makes it a safe place.
