Two robots cut from the same cloth, Astel and Alpha meet at the waste facility after being thrown out due to malfunctions. After Alpha saves Astel from the incinerator, they end up living together on the outskirts of the city. However, this peace doesn't last long as the movement for the "cleansing" gets stronger. As it becomes no longer safe to stay so close to the city, they decide to finally move to the rumored safe haven "--". Along the way, they make new friends, enemies, and even family.
