CW: body horror. cont. Fungal infections are notoriously difficult to treat as fungal and animal cells are very similar, so creating drugs that only target fungi is incredibly challenging. There are also no pain receptors in the brain, so the illness wasn't painful. I felt like I had no thoughts even though I could still "feel" my body. It was a really freaky dream! (2/2) -Mewzer.
