Violet tries not to think about the fact that she's a fictional character in a children's TV show. She tries not to think about the fact that she's a side character while her little sister, Emerald, is the main character. She tries not to think about how she feels about that at all. She had long stopped trying to say anything, and has long stopped trying to figure out why she's one of the only ones who knows. And then the show cancels and her ignorance is nothing more.
