Sometimes when a partner is more practical minded they can focus on those problems first and not realise that what is really needed in that moment in emotional comfort. Also he was really hungover. I was not happy that he was out with idiot friends when I needed to go to the hospital. Even though he felt so bad afterwards. (And yes I have his permission to talk about this haha).
