Drach-oc, barely able to fly, a speech impediment… and to top it off, he’s a fire dragon who can’t breathe fire. But I knew one thing: he would be the hero, the savior of the island-kingdom of the dragons. How? I honestly had no idea yet. It sometimes feels like these characters exist in another realm, and my job is just to let them come to life through my writing, and Darja's brilliant art work.
