Ch.5 1988 and my first murder

When I was a kid on that street back in 1988, my friends and I (3 girls) found a Robin's egg. They convinced me to "hatch it" with them. The hatchling looked awful and alien, & it died, being "hatched" by us much too early. I had nightmares about it & I thought that our senseless act would surely send me to Hell.
