I try to write down anything good or positive that I notice in a day and moments that are, or should be, joyful even if I don't feel it in the moment. Then, at the end of each week, or every month, I look back and can see a list of evidence that things weren't so bad. It's a helpful tool where I typically only tend to see the negative.
