Anner Nanners, a lavender cat Toon, attempts to befriend a "defective" Double Talker with one head. She gives him a name: Doublin Ayarlend, and visits him every day to develop a friendship with him. That is, until he does something that makes her fall in love with him, digging himself into a deeper hole than he was already in.
